Contamination of water and soil can cause human disease. Having consulted for the Oregon Department of Environmental Quality, California Department of Toxic Substances Control, Vermont Department of Environmental Conservation, I have provided guidance on a variety of environmental contamination projects.

Recently, I have been advising the Vermont Agency of Natural Resources on drafting legislation to regulate emerging contaminants in the State of Vermont. This work has resulted aspects of report presented to the Vermont General Assembly under H.595 (Act 154) and the executive order by Governor Phil Scott on August 7, 2017.
